Beverage with ATTIKI honey

Ingredients:
For the honey syrup
500g ATTIKI honey
80 ml water
1 small cinnamon stick
3 cardamon seeds, crushed
2 seeds allspice, crushed
For the beverage
200 ml ΜΕΤΑXA spirit
120 ml pomegranate juice
300 ml cider
1 apple
crushed ice
Directions
In a saucepan put the ingredients for the honey syrup and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Allow the syrup to cool before you use it and you remove the spices. Use 4 cocktail cups type old fashion, fill each cup with 50 ml ΜΕΤΑXA spirit, 30 ml. honey syrup, 30 ml pomegranate juice and mix, add the crushed ice and fill with cider. Add to each glass one apple slice and serve.
Tip: Aside from pomegranate juice can be used orange or sanguine juice.
