Honour for Attiki-Pittas at the Made in Greece awards

Attiki-Pittas stood out yet again at the Greek Marketing Academy’s Made in Greece awards this year, claiming the “Agricultural Excellence” award at a special ceremony held on 11 December at the Athens Concert Hall.

The Attiki Bee-Culturing Company – Alexandros Pittas S.A. has worked consistently over the last 89 years in the service of the Greek branded honey industry. Many years of partnership with more than 2000 professional beekeepers in Greece has made Attiki honey, with its guaranteed excellence and consistent taste, the number one Greek honey.

The “Agricultural Excellence” award was presented to Maria Pitta, a director of Attiki-Pittas, who said “Attiki is a 100% Greek family business, partnering more than 2000 second and third generation Greek beekeepers. We stand side-by-side with the beekeeping sector, offering systematic support and encouraging constant development, but also investing in a state-of-the-art preparation and packaging plant, and in this way, we succeed every day in bringing high-quality Greek honey to the world.”

The Made in Greece awards, organised for the third time this year by the Greek Marketing Academy, has established itself as an institution that recognises excellence and stands out for its transparent and confidential judging process. The awards are held under the aegis of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
