Since 1928, Attiki Bee Culturing Company – Alexandros Pittas SA has been dedicated to bringing the finest greek honey to markets both in Greece and abroad. Our focus remains on the devotion to the cooperative relationships we build with beekeepers and our ongoing contribution to local communities. In the spirit of mutual trust, we are proud to reflect on a particularly productive 2024, highlighted by several key initiatives:
- Support to Karditsa Basketball Club
For the 10th year in a row, we continued our support to Karditsa Basketball Club, reinforcing a bond rooted in mutual respect and reciprocal interaction
All these years, we have been a solid pillar in the team’s progress and success, celebrating the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Participation in the “Donate a Hive” Program
In response to the fires and floods that affected beekeepers throughout Greece, we provided financial support to the “Donate a Hive” initiative, powered by OMSE, the Federation of Greek Beekeepers Associations, for the purchase and distribution of new hives to impacted producers.
- Scholarship awarded to a Student from Evros
In memory of Christos Kessoudis, our long-time collaborator from Soufli, we awarded a scholarship to a first-class student at the Vocational High School of the American Farm School, emphasizing our belief in the importance of education as a pillar of progress.
As a result of these initiatives, Attiki Bee Culturing was honored at the 2024 Super Market Awards, recognized as a model business in the greek market. This award serves as a testament to our ongoing commitment to Greek beekeepers and we look forward to an even more creative and impactful new year.
