In 2011, and for the second time, one of the most esteemed taste awards in the world, the Superior Taste Award, was awarded by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) to our Company for our Attiki Honey.

Attiki Honey was recognised with the same award back in 2008, thereby confirming the superior taste of our honey and the high quality requirements of the most famous Greek apiculture company in the world.

The International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) is a leading, independent organisation, dedicated to testing, recognising and promoting superior tasting food and drink from around the world, that meet its particularly strict criteria. The judges of the Institute, acclaimed chefs and sommeliers, are international experts and members of the most prestigious culinary and sommelier associations (including, the Hellenic Chef’s Association, l’Académie Culinaire de France and la Federazione Italiana Cuochi).

Attiki Honey was tested blind and yet again garnered three Stars – the highest accolade – which are only awarded to exceptional products.

On receiving this accolade, Mr George Pittas, CEO of the Company, stated: "This distinction honours our tireless efforts to provide an exceptional, 100% natural and superior tasting Greek honey to consumers in Greece and overseas, simultaneously consolidating Greek apiculture. We are proud that our honey, Attiki Honey, is an ambassador of our country abroad".
